Chaos On Caerphilly's Roads

Sign The Petition For Action

Local campaigners, Judith Child and Kath Catris have joined Owen Meredith in calling on Caerphilly County Borough Council and the Welsh Assembly Government to make urgent funds available for repair work to Caerphilly’s highways.

Judith and Kath said:
“We’ve never seen the county’s roads this bad. The council have made some funding available but it isn't enough. The pavements are just as bad as the roads and it is incredibly dangerous.”

Owen commented: “I know that budgets are tight, but if we don’t spend the money now to fix these potholes, it will cost us a lot more in compensation claims down the line. Safe highways are a basic service the council should provide”
