Owen Meredith will fight the Caerphilly constituency for the Welsh Conservatives in the Welsh Assembly elections on May 5th 2011.

He was born and grew up in Caerphilly, which is still his family home. Owen has promised to work with people in the community to find solutions to local problems. His priorities are creating an enterprising economy - that brings jobs and investment to Caerphilly; supporting young people to gain the right education and skills to keep talent local and support Caerphilly's development; and protecting vulnerable people with first class health and social care.

Caerphilly born Owen Meredith is fighting for a positive change in Caerphilly at the Welsh Assembly elections on May 5th. He will contest the seat for the Welsh Conservatives, who came second in the recent General Election poll.
