Protecting The Health Service

Owen Meredith will protect frontline health and education services in Caerphilly.

He said: “Welsh Conservatives will ensure there are real terms increases in the health budget every year in Wales. In a time of increasing demand and rising costs, we must ensure the NHS has the resources to provide people with lifesaving treatment.

“With the new Ystrad Fawr hospital opening soon, we will have some fantastic health facilities in Caerphilly. We must make the most of what we have got by ensuring hard working and dedicated NHS staff have the resources to deliver the best for patients.”
